Adaptive Baseball League for the Exceptional

ABLE Recreation serves children and adults with special needs and their families by providing a variety of adapted social and recreational activities.  Our main focus is an adaptive baseball program that is based on the successful Asheville Parks & Recreation adaptive baseball league that was started more than 15 years ago.  Occasionally, outside of the baseball program, ABLE Recreation organizes other events and activities for the families that we support.  These can include holiday parties, bingo, bowling, and various outdoor & indoor adaptive activities that anyone can enjoy! 

2025 Season Details

The Spring 2025 Adapted Baseball Season will begin in April!!

Spring 2025 registration will begin in late March 2025. Please check back then!

Game dates: April 27th, May 4th, May 18th, and June 1st. All games are played on Sundays.

The Youth league game is held from 2:00-3:00 followed by an Adult league game from 3:00-4:00.

All are welcome to come out and cheer on our players!!
